Heartily Healthy Hot Chocolate

This healthy hot chocolate is a delicious alternative to the popular powdered mixes we used when we were kids. The best part about homemade hot chocolate is being able to customize the chocolate flavor to your liking. Want a dark chocolate drink? Add more cocoa powder or use less sweetener.


  • 1 cup of unsweetened vanilla almond milk

  • 2 tbs unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 1 tbs of stevia

  • Cinnamon stick



  1. Warm up almond milk and cinnamon stick in a small saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a light simmer.

  2. Slowly add in the cocoa powder stirring continuously until completely dissolved.

  3. Remove from heat and pour into your favorite mug. Garnish with cinnamon stick!

  4. Warm up and enjoy!
